My boyfriends car was overheating and i fixed it!! OH YEAH!! I rule!
Its amazing what a little motor oil and antifreeze will do!

to be discouraged because someone doesn't thank you?
I think so. I had sooo much fun doing the secret sister swap, until a point! I loved the stuff Flossie sent me!
I was so excited about sending out my last package. I even splurged on the priority shipping so it would get there faster!
I don't even know if she got it (aside from the fact i did a delivery confirmation). So now every day that goes by i wonder if she hated the stuff i sent.

I see all the other sisters thanking their big sisters.
Maybe its just because i'm mad about losing my job at Michael's.
Either way it makes me hesitant to send other people things. I dont expect anything in return except a thank you and i don't think thats too much to ask...is it?

Today just needs to be over so i can stop being cranky.

Bad News...

Due to a bunch of things beyond anyones control all instructors at Michael's are losing their jobs.
I need to figure out something else to do....
Weather it be a CTMH consultant, host home scrapbooking and card classes, or find a different job all together.
They offered me a job as a sales associate. They couldn't even guarantee me the rate of pay i get now. I dont know if i've said this but i'm a financial assistant where i work now. I have an accounting degree. Becoming a sales associate would be a waste of my time and my talent.
Is a 25% discount really worth being "demoted" ?

This sucks. And i dont know what to do or think.
They are phasing out all classes altogether except kids club, wilton cake classes, and free events.

Cleaning out....

I am cleaning out my craft space... and this time i am getting rid of some stuff!

First my scrapbooking/ cardmaking family (aunt, mom, friend sara) will get dibs.

Although, i will be putting together "random stuff packs" That will have stickers, scrap paper, paper i've had forever and dont use, some chipboard odds and ends that i have had forever.

My cousin will be graduating from High School in May.

Brad Share Update...

the last of the shopping and the shipping is delayed a bit because of snow and ice...... ewwwwwww.....

As longas the roads arent horrific i will be doing about 1/4 of the remainder of the shopping tonight, and the other 1/4 tomorrow. Shipping will be done for everyone who paypal-ed Monday afternoon.

So the eyelet share was small, but successful! Everyones eyelets will have gone out by tomorrow! (There not being mail today sucked because i was all ready to mail Ann Marie her eyelets!)
Anyways, the Brad Share has begun, and almost everyone is paid. The shopping is half way done too! (I was soooo priductive this weekend!)
If everyone is paid brads should go out by Friday or Saturday!


So now i'm ready to start a RIBBON SHARE!!

Price: $15/ person (as long as there are 8 participants)- this includes shipping!
What you get: There will be at least 15 different ribbons, you will get 2 feet of each color/style.

Brad Share Shopping Trip #1

Busy busy busy

I think from friday at 6:30am until last night around midnight i did not stop except to sleep alittle.
Between my full time job, class at michaels, demo's on saturday, the CTMH party, and going to walmart i was exhausted! Then when i finally when i got home i got to relax.
D and i watched Elizabeth: The Golden Years. It was pretty good.
We did 2 really cute cards at the CTMH party. I have a huge list of things that i want!
And thanks to everyone that came i will be able to get a good bit of it for FREE! **Yay!!**
Now its time for me to go be lazy, browse my CTMH catalog, and watch tv.
Hopefully i'll feel like crafting later and get some stuff done to post!

So for the past week, maybe two, i have been working on a scrap book for my boyfriends niece. Its going to be her birthday present. Although her birthday isn't until April, i need to get on this now because The Wedding Event is coming up at Michael's and i'm going to have projects for work, and hopefully some side jobs!

Also, it snowed last night. And its snowing now. Schools are closed, roads are bad, and i'm stuck at home with Derrick. Not that thats a bad thing. :) Hopefully it doesn't get too nasty out.

Eyelet Share!!

I am ordering a huge amount of the clearance eyelets at Eyeletoutlet.com and i don't need nearly as many that come in the packages. (200 eyelets of various shades ie: 200 shades of pink eyelets)
I am willing to split these with 2 other people (splitting the cost and postage 3 ways, total) if anyone is interested. Please let me know! The cost will be $7 each- this will include the shipping from the company, and my shipping costs to mail it back out to you.
